A-list attendees at the Beverly Hilton will also get to taste Champagne cocktails created by Elettra Wiedemann.
The Moët Sunset Starlet, which was previewed at an event Monday morning, features Lillet, dry Curacao, and orange bitters topped with Moët Chandon Rosé Imperial. It’s a refreshing drink with a mellow citrus flavor up front, an elegant cocktail that Wiedemann says was inspired by clementines being in season all over New York. The Moët Bijou Rouge, meanwhile, is a blend of gin, Carpano, Luxardo, dram bitters, and Moët & Chandon Imperial.
Luckily, the Moët Sunset Starlet is something that you can recreate at home without enlisting the help of a pro bartender. Here’s Wiedemann’s recipe:
Moët Sunset Starlet
Ingredients
- ¾-ounce Lillet
- ½-ounce dry Curacao
- ¾-teaspoon honey
- ¼-ounce lemon juice
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- Spritz of fresh clementine and twist
- Moet & Chandon Rosé Imperial
Instructions
- Combine Lillet, dry Curacao, honey, lemon juice, and orange bitters in a cocktail shaker.
- Shake vigorously.
- Pour over ice into a white-wine glass, and top with Moet & Chandon Rosé Imperial.
- Garnish with a clementine twist.
